You asked, and we listened! By popular demand from our fantastic Sweet Salsa pupils, we are thrilled to host a special, one-off Cuban Son class designed exclusively for improver-level salsa dancers.

Whether you're local to Preston or travelling from across the North West, if you want to take your salsa dancing to the next level, this is the workshop for you.

Why Learn Cuban Son? Son is the beautiful, traditional root of modern Cuban Salsa. Learning the elegant movements and classic contratiempo (dancing on the off-beat) of Son is one of the ultimate "hacks" to becoming a better salsa dancer.

In this welcoming, high-energy class, you will learn how to:

• Unlock effortless musicality and slow down your dancing.
• Master the classic Son timing (contratiempo) without the confusion.
• Improve your weight transfer for smoother, more elegant partner work.
• Add authentic Cuban flavor and style to your regular salsa social dancing!

Who is this for? This class is aimed at Improver level salsa dancers and above. You do NOT need any previous experience dancing Son—we will guide you through the absolute fundamentals step-by-step. Just bring your enthusiasm and a smile!
