It is our great pleasure to have International Cuban dance star Ariel Rios Robert join us to teach across 3 Sundays, 29th January, 19th February and 26th March 2023

Each 2 hour class starts at 1.30pm - 3:30pm

These classes will include elements of partner work and connection within Cuban son and salsa, explanations of the musical elements that flavour Cuban music with rumba and orisha.

NB the class on  Sunday 19th February will be at SALESBURY MEMORIAL HALL, 73 Ribchester Rd, Clayton le Dale, Blackburn BB1 9HT and not Samlesbury War Memorial Hall.

We're so excited, and honoured, to have Ariel visit us with his warmth, personality, flair, and charm which have made him a firm favourite around the UK salsa scene.

Havana-born Ariel has trained as a professional dancer in Cuba and has performed and choreographed in many of the best theatres in Havana, Cuba.

Ariel has almost 30 years experience as a professional dancer, from being Director of the University of Havana's Conjunto Folklorico and teaching at the National Arts Instructor's School for teachers-in-training he has also gone on to performing, teaching and DJ'ing at major dance events and festivals in UK and across Europe and to creating his own brand of Cuban dance and fitness classes the British Midlands.

He has over 20 years experience of designing and presenting courses in dance. He is an educator, specializing in Cha Cha Cha, Mambo, Son, Danzon, Cuban Rumba, Afro Cuban, Salsa and Casino.
